Banerjee's backgammon days were short, as his backgammon club, one of his first experiments in business operation, has failed despite the huge popularity of the backgammon game in late 70s America. After his backgammon failure, Banerjee's business took a wild turn, approaching to people's less cerebral interests and formed the first nightclub in the US showcasing women mud wrestlers. From there, he continued expanding the exotic dancing territory, and forming the Chippendales club, first in LA and then in New York, London and the rest of the world.
Yet, maybe Banerjee should have stuck with backgammon after all; despite the Chippendales phenomenal success that brought the founder fame and wealth, but also made him fear and distrust his partners and professionals. To make a long story short, Banerjee had ended his life hanged in a prison cell completely broke.
