Jadestone Network, which had recently launched DiceArena, a gaming network that revolves around the game mechanism of the six-faced dice, is going back in time to the oldest game ever played with dice – backgammon. If DiceArena games were simplistic versions of classic games such as Texas Holdém and Liar's Dice, with less emphasize on strategy and more reliance on luck and bluffing abilities, the Swedish online gaming company is planning to make no promises in its not yet launched online backgammon game.
According to the company press release, its backgammon game will be played by the official backgammon rules, as enforced in real live backgammon tournaments. Jadestone's backgammon will be also using the same anti-fraud system and random dice mechanics as in DiceArena and GamArena. For starters, the backgammon game will be available for the company long time partners, users of its veteran gaming sites Bwin and NordicBet, who will be able playing backgammon online using the same usernames and avatars they use in the company's sports betting and poker sites.
