Sportingbet and GameAccount collaboration allows the former's broad audience of online casino, poker and bingo players to GameAccount skill games' communities that include variety of multi player skill games such as backgammon, gin-rummy and multiplayer blackjack (an online version of the popular casino game, in which players are capable of choosing between playing the house, i.e. the dealer, and playing one another in online tournaments).
The two online gaming companies have been cooperating since 2004. Recently, with GameAccount taking over the remains of veteran backgammon website GamesGrid, its base of dedicated online backgammon grew significantly, a factor that had probably affected Sportingbet contract renewal. "Creating a software solution to cater to both customer groups is something GameAccount Network can be rightly proud of", Dermot Smurfit, COO of GameAccount complimented its partner and added that "a non-download professional quality backgammon product capable of catering to a wide variety of recreational and serious punters is a must-have for all sportsbook operators offering a full portfolio of eGaming products."
