WSOB multi player backgammon platform, courtesy of Jadestone Network is going to be presented during the WSOB Cannes event, on Friday, July 24th on 3 o'clock afternoon, somewhere between the second chance event and the main event resumption. The official launch of WSOB and Jadestone backgammon game will commence the online qualifiers for World Series of Backgammon future events, first the WSOB Prague and European Championships, scheduled to September and later for WSOB London UK Masters and Championship on October 2009.
The World Series of Backgammon Season III is expected to begin this coming Tuesday at the Palm Beach Casino in Cannes, in over four months delay (the WSOB 3rd season was originally intended to begin on March 2009, at the UK Masters, and to end, as in previous seasons on Cannes in July). Despite WSOB rocky year, Andy Bell, the World Series of Backgammon Enterprise founder and managing director remains optimistic. In the announcement on the Jadestone collaboration, he had expressed hope that the current season would produce more than €300,000 in prize pool and stated that the top backgammon players will be lining up for the new online backgammon platform.

The World Series of Backgammon has revealed the mysterious operator behind its new, not yet launched, online backgammon platform. According to recent publication, the prestigious backgammon tour is collaborating with Jadestone Network, the online game developer from Sweden, which is responsible for DiceArena and GameArena networks.
